Katy has amassed over 25 years of experience in the environmental and international development sectors. She has served in various roles, including charity founder and CEO, trusts and foundations fundraiser, consultant, and strategy developer.

She dedicated a decade as an environmental consultant, establishing a new pollution control group. Afterwards, she transitioned to corporate social responsibility and international development, assisting partners in West Africa with strategic guidance and funding to bolster their efforts in sustainable agriculture.

In the recent 10 years, Katy has fostered the growth of social enterprises and charities aimed at addressing waste and food poverty. Notable projects include The Rubbish Diet (a diet for your bin), Shrewsbury Food Hub, Shropshire Food Poverty Alliance, and Shropshire Good Food Partnership.

Fundraising has always been integral to her work, as she collaborates with trusts, foundations, and corporate sponsors.
