Pro Bono Fundraising Support for 10 Grassroots Organisations

Nominations are now closed.

We’ve been overwhelmed by the quality and volume of nominations received and are currently reviewing applications

Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate an organisation.

To mark ten years of Orchard Fundraising, we’re offering pro bono fundraising support to ten grassroots organisations working in communities across the UK.

10 for 10 is about providing focused, experienced fundraising support to make a meaningful difference, helping organisations build clarity, confidence and momentum.

Why 10 for 10?

As Orchard reaches its tenth year, we wanted to mark the moment in a way that reflects who we are and how we work.

Over the years, we’ve seen the commitment, care and resilience of grassroots organisations up close, often deeply rooted in their communities, responding to real need with limited time and capacity. Alongside our client work, we’ve also quietly offered pro bono fundraising support to one small charity each year, where thoughtful, experienced input could help unlock progress.

10 for 10 is about taking that commitment a step further. To celebrate ten years of Orchard, we’re extending that support to ten grassroots organisations, sharing the experience, perspective and practical fundraising help we’ve built over time, and putting it to work where it can make a meaningful difference.

What Support Will 10 for 10 Offer?

We’ll be supporting ten grassroots charities with a defined period of focused fundraising support, tailored to their needs. This may include:

  • Reviewing or creating a clear fundraising plan
  • Identifying and prioritising potential funders
  • Strengthening a case for support
  • Building a realistic funding pipeline
  • Providing experienced, external perspective at a critical moment
  • Supporting a fundraising challenge where time, capacity or expertise is limited

Support will be delivered by the Orchard Fundraising team, drawing on a breadth of fundraising experience and a practical, thoughtful approach to helping organisations move forward with confidence.

Who is 10 for 10 for?

We’re looking to support organisations that are:

  • Charities, CIOs or CICs
  • UK-based and properly registered
  • Small or grassroots in nature
  • Rooted in real community need
  • Delivering meaningful work with limited fundraising capacity
  • Not currently working with a fundraising consultant

You can nominate your own organisation, or a charity you know and admire.

How to Nominate a Charity

Nominating a charity is simple.

You can:

  • Complete the nomination form below, or
  • Email admin@orchardfundraising.co.uk with:
    • Your name
    • The name of the charity you’re nominating
    • A short paragraph outlining who they are, what they do, and why you think they would benefit from pro bono fundraising support

Nominations close on Monday 2 March, or earlier if we receive a high volume of applications.

All nominations will be reviewed carefully by the Orchard team, with organisations shortlisted based on fit, need and the potential impact of the support. Once the review process is complete, we’ll be in touch with all applicants, and will follow up with shortlisted charities to discuss next steps.

Please note: nominations are now closed.
