Join a Team That Helps Charities Thrive

At Orchard Fundraising, we believe great fundraising grows from collaboration, curiosity, and care.

We help charities of every size build lasting fundraising success, from big-picture strategy to hands-on bid writing. If you’re passionate about helping good causes tell their story, connect with funders, and achieve real-world impact, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re a small, friendly, fully remote team that’s closely connected and genuinely supportive. We value flexibility, mutual respect, and a down-to-earth way of working, and we take pride in seeing the difference our work makes every day. You won’t find corporate ladders here, but you will find a place where your skills are valued, your ideas matter, and your work helps brilliant charities put down stronger roots.

Whether you’re an experienced fundraiser or looking to develop your career in the sector, we want you to feel part of something that genuinely matters.

Why Work With Orchard Fundraising?

  • Supportive, collaborative culture
  • Opportunities to grow and take on new challenges
  • Real impact through meaningful causes
  • Collaboration with passionate, like-minded colleagues
  • Part-time roles available, from 6 to 32 hours a week
  • A self-employed model that gives you freedom and flexibility

Current Opportunities

Right now, we’re looking to connect with people interested in two key roles. If one sounds like you, get in touch – we’re always happy to have a conversation.

Client Lead

Our Client Leads are the main point of contact for a small portfolio of charities – typically four or five in due course. You’ll lead all Orchard Fundraising activity for your clients, overseeing delivery of agreed fundraising strategies, coordinating the team, and ensuring that every charity feels supported, informed, and confident in their fundraising direction.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the relationship with each assigned charity, acting as their main point of contact
  • Deliver and monitor the agreed fundraising strategy for each client
  • Set plans, supervise specialist fundraising colleagues and manage work in a matrix management system
  • Guide and support others in the delivery of research, bids and campaigns
  • Occasionally contribute directly to application drafting for complex or high-value bids
  • Ensure the quality, consistency, and strategic alignment of all client work

What we’re looking for:

  • At least five years’ experience in charity fundraising, particularly trusts and foundations
  • Additional expertise in one or more areas such as HNWI, legacy, corporate, digital, or individual giving is a plus
  • Proven ability to think strategically and manage others remotely
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to build lasting client relationships
  • Reliability, self-sufficiency, and a calm, thoughtful approach under pressure

Alignment with Orchard’s ethos: collaborative, professional, and genuinely kind.
